Santa Has Been!

Hay, Hay, HAY! Quick everybody, WAKE-UP – Santa has been!

Come on you lazy piggy type tykes, time to get up . . . NOW!

Oh-ho! A special delivery from Daddy-Postie. What’s that tasty looking piece of eminently munchable paper for, Pixie?

It’s a Christmas card – and it’s for us, Bear!

Oh yes, look. And the words and pic are SO appropriate – it being Christmas and everything. How clever!

Oh wow, it’s from our Auntie Debs. Thank you Auntie Debs. Merry Pigmas to YOU too!

This is for Fairy, Bear. Do you think she would mind if we, sort of accidentally opened it .  .  .

YES I jolly WOULD mind, thank you very much, indeed! STEP AWAY FROM THE FAIRY PRESENT!!!!!

Pass it over to me Mummy. I can unwrap it – all – by – myself!

Thank you Mummy – you can go now and be quick about it. Oh and take those handy pressie opening scissors type things with you.

Oh my! A super Mr Woody-Love-Heart-Button-Bear, just for me. FAB! PERFECT!

I LOVE him! Thank you ever so muchly Auntie Debs, xxx!

But . . . but . . . Mummy, are there ANY presents for little, tiny me and little (oops, I mean MEDIUM) Bear?

We have both been very, very good – all week (well almost some of it, nearly!)

A pressie for us – at last – okay Daddy, you keep a firm grip and I’ll investigate.

Rip! Tear!

What’s all the noisy fuss about? You disturbed my beauty nap, Pixie.

Goodness, gracious me – is that a, a, a TIGER? Yikes!!!!

The box is always the safest, err I meant ‘best’ bit! I’ll just check this for playfullabilityness.

Not that I don’t appreciate the contents too, thank you Santa!

Woo-hoo come on then Bear. Now Fairy is safely ensconced in that cardboard tunnel arrangement – it’s time to get serious and get playing!

There seems to be an abundance of extra crinkly wrapping paper . . . brilliant for zooming through at top speed – wheeeeeeee!

Are there any MORE goodies? I thought it was traditional to leave the BIG present to last.

Ooooooooooh – look Bear, it seem to be the biggest Bag-O-Balls – EVER!!!!

Jolly nice and colourful they look too Pixie. Errrr, what on earth are they for, do you think?

They look a bit scary – I’ll just go and check on, on, on – the hay situation. Bye!

Oh, you are such a big softie Bear. Being a jolly brave investigative Pixie, I am going to investigate . . .

C’mon Bear, don’t worry, those really scary ball monsters won’t get you, very much!

Look! We can play the Ball-Snuff-A-Long game. Whizz about, scooting around, nosing them out the way – to find tasty treat type treats and other things!

Just what do you two think you’re looking at – exactly?

Relax everybody – they don’t like Salad.

Talking of Salad, all this Christmas fun and frivolity has made me feel rather peckish.

But before snacks, I must just say a huge thank you, to all our lovely friends all around the world and particularly you, Santa.

We have had a lovely, lively day, and we really love our Ballroom!

Thank you, thank you, thank YOU xxxxx

Jolly Christmastide One And All!

We three pigs . . . . wish you all a Jolly Christmastide and a very Plumptious New Year! Lots of love and magic from Fairy, Pixie and Bear xxx (oh! And not forgetting our human slaves, Mildred and Ian xxx)

Fairy’s Forrest!

With Christmas Day only a few short sleeps away – Fairy is in the Piggery, getting very excited.

Hmmmh, let me see now, who is this wonderfully beautiful, hand crafted creation from? I recognise the paw-writing.

Oh goodness me – it’s from my favourite ever Princess, Auntie Alice.

How clever of her – it’s petitte, decorous and tasteful – just like little ol’ me! And it’s very useful too – with all these presents I needed another tree to put them under.

I pity the poor Postie at this time of year – having to make so many deliveries to the Piggery.

This wrapping paper looks very tasteful – I might have a crafty nibble or two when Mummy isn’t looking!

Not only do my pressies look pretty, they’re very comfy to sit on too.

I wonder where these came from?

Gosh – they’re from Great, Great Dame Auntie Rachel – well at least the paper was tasteful!

Impatient Pigs!

Busy Pigs!

Ho Ho Ho Pigs!

Treats For All!

It is that time of year for our two new arrivals to be introduced to the noble tradition of posing for a Christmas family portrait. Unfortunately, not all Piggies are as co-operative and naturally adept as Fairy!

Here’s Bear to explain . . .

Oooooo-errrrr, don’t look now – I must be dreaming. Treats keep materialising above my head as if by magic!

Oh . . . maybe it’s Santa coming to our house early. A practice run, maybe?

I’d better keep this to myself.

Oh-ho! I thought it was too good to be true – Pixie heard my munchy noises!

Oh for goodness sakes, Fairy’s in on it now! And there was hardly enough for a decent mouthful anyway!

An Early Christmas Gift for Fairy!

Well hello there my loyal followers. As you will all know by now, I take great pride in my appearance and personal grooming. To maintain the impossibly high standards I have established I rely on only the very best and efficacious products. So it was with great excitement that I opened today’s post and out popped a brand new Gorgeous Guineas Shampoo from one of my many Secret Admirers, Digger – and even better, it was an extra special Christmas Spice variety – BLISS!!!!

So come on Mummy – it’s pampering Fairy time.

Hurry along there – is the bath water ready yet?

Ooooooh – just the right temperature – lovely.

And now for the moment I’ve all been waiting for – the Shampoo!

Tee-hee! You are tickling my toes Mummy – very fetching they look too I might add.

That’s it, give me a good rub down for that fashionable ‘I just chewed through an electric cable, look’

Brrrruuuuhhhhhhhhzzzup!

This is my amazing ‘Levitating Fairy’ trick!

This part is the best bit ever!

Hummmph – I thought there would be the odd snack or two during my session.

That’s me all primped and preened. Now for some fun – it’s Bear and Pixie time.

To save water (and my bestest ever shampoo) they are having their bath together!

Mmm! Pixie, do you like the nice Christmassy aroma from MY shampoo?! Not too much Mummy.

Be a big girl, Bear (oh! You ARE!), the fur drier doesn’t hurt that much!

This has to be the best ever Gorgeous Guineas Shampoo – thank you, Digger!

We ALL smell lovely and Christmassy now, and feels as smooth as silk!

Our Grand Opening!

There was great excitement and a good deal of traditional British Pomp & Ceremony at the Piggery today. It was our OFFICIAL OPENING CEREMONY.

We were indeed fortunate to have secured the services of Princess Alice and Dame Rachel to perform the necessaries.

Early this morning an exuberant audience gasped in wonder as our royal guests arrive and attempt to walk up the red carpet. Dame Rachel is a little unsteady on her pins these days, bless her.

Here Princess Alice is caught in the very act of cutting the ribbon.

Goodness knows why she had to pontificate at great length about being ‘unaccustomed’ and asking everyone what they did, and had they travelled far.

And why she had to be given a jolly big bouquet of yummy carrots for doing it, is beyond me.

At least she had the good grace to leave it within easy nibbling range – burp.

The humans celebrated the momentous moment by swigging lots of fruity stuff – Yuk!

Hello, everybody – what about some special celebratory treats for us Mummy?

Hummp – perhaps the treats are up there.

No Bear, nommm, nommmm, nothing up here!

Any chance of a celebratory cuddle then? Anyone?

That’s better – Dame Rachel came in useful after all.

And, so did Princess Alice!

Well, all’s well that ends well. What a super day – we all had a jolly nice time!
